Discover Reception | Term 3

Come and discover Reception with a fun afternoon for future Reception students - this is an opportunity to explore the Reception classrooms, meet the teaching team and take a self-guided tour of the College facilities.

Reception Transition Program | Term 4

As Reception is a Foundation year level, we endeavour to make the transition into 'big school' as smooth as possible. The transition program aims to prepare Kindergarten aged children for their first year of schooling at Seaview Christian College.  It assists future students and parents with the transition from a Kindergarten environment to formal schooling.

The program runs in Term 4 in the year prior to Reception.  We launch the program with a Parent Information Morning, followed by a variety of events and sessions held at the College.  Children engage in a variety of fun activities giving them a sense of belonging and preparedness.  All information relating to our Reception transition program is emailed to families by our College Registrar.
